How often should I visit the dentist?
At Studio Dental, we recommend coming to our dental office for at least two checkups and cleanings per calendar year. These appointments allow Dr. Kim to spot any problems as soon as possible. That way, we can treat them before they cause serious damage or pain. We also take time to remove hardened plaque, called tartar, from your teeth, helping you avoid oral problems in the future. Do you treat children?
Absolutely! Dr. Kim and the rest of our team love to help young patients learn how to take care of their smiles and start healthy oral habits early on in life. Our family-friendly dental office can handle your child’s every dental need, ranging from their first dental appointment when they’re a toddler to wisdom tooth extraction when they’re a teenager and beyond. Do you offer traditional braces as well as Invisalign® treatment?
Yes, we do! Whether for you or your teen, we provide personalized orthodontic treatment that can meet your needs and give you the smile you’ve always dreamed of. We offer both traditional metal braces and Invisalign® clear aligners to shift your teeth into the ideal position. During your consultation with Dr. Kim, we can determine which treatment will best help you achieve the results you want and get you on the path toward a straighter smile.
Can you perform dental implant placement in-house?
Dr. Kim has the advanced training and experience to handle every step of the dental implants process, including the complex placement, right here in our McKinney dental office. Before the procedure, we’ll use our CT/cone beam scanner to create a thorough, precise plan for the best chances of success. Once the tissues have healed and the implant has become embedded in the jaw bone, we will complete treatment by placing a custom restoration.
Do you have metal-free restorations?
We sure do! We use the highest quality, most durable materials to create our custom restorations that contain no metal at all. Dr. Kim can design your restoration to look lifelike and can give you the confidence to show your smile after an injury or decay.
Do you accept my dental insurance?
We are happy to accept basically any dental insurance and are in-network with many plans, including Delta Dental, Guardian, Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, United Concordia, United Healthcare, and many more!
